Using IntelliTrack for QuickBooks Online

IntelliTrack for QuickBooks Online tracks inventory levels for inventory part items from QuickBooks Online when an item is adjusted in inventory. It posts purchase orders and it posts sales estimates and creates invoices for them. After the Plugin settings are in place and the dataset between QuickBooks Online and IntelliTrack is established, you are ready to start using the Plugin to:

• Import QuickBooks inventory of inventory-part type items into IntelliTrack.
• Export inventory adjustments from IntelliTrack to QuickBooks Online.
• Process order adjustments from IntelliTrack to QuickBooks.

Note: In order for the inventory and order information to flow between QuickBooks Online and IntelliTrack, the following settings must be in place: connection to the QuickBooks company, the Plugin configuration settings, and establishment of the initial dataset.

Integrating the Applications

Make sure that all the setup is complete before using the Plugin to import inventory, export inventory adjustments, and work with purchase orders and sales estimates.

Syncing Data

The Plugin syncs the data between IntelliTrack and QuickBooks Online.

• Once you have set up the Plugin and the configuration options, the updates between IntelliTrack and QuickBooks Online are continual per your settings as long as the QuickBooks Online company connection is available.
• If the QuickBooks Online company connection is not available, transactions that are occurring in IntelliTrack will not update in QuickBooks. However, the transactions are posted in the Invoice/Receipt list and will update the next time it is opened.
• If the Plugin Host Utility or the Plugin Host Services are not running, QuickBooks Online will not share data with IntelliTrack. However, after they are restarted, the next time IntelliTrack is opened, the Plugin will sync the data with QuickBooks Online according to the QuickBooks Online Plugin settings.

Note: When you are ready to sync the data automatically, set the Sync Interval in the Plugin to enable the automatic syncing. The data will sync automatically based upon the time period set in the Sync Interval field.
