Configuring RLS for IntelliTrack

RLS includes a Windows based configuration tool: the RLS Configurator. Use it to configure the RLS service to communicate with IntelliTrack by:

• Adding IntelliTrack as a client output
• Configuring the readers
• Deploying the configuration to IntelliTrack

Open the RLS Configurator by selecting Start > Barcoding, Inc > RLS Configurator. The RLS Configurator appears.

The RLS Configurator consists of a navigation pane along the left side of the screen. Use the navigation pane to reach the various areas of RLS and configure it for integration with IntelliTrack.

• Client Output: select to configure IntelliTrack as a client output; see "Adding the Client Output".
• Locations: select to add listener locations to RLS; see "Adding the Locations".
• Reader Profiles: select to add a reader profile; see "Add the Reader Profile".
• Readers: select to configure the readers; see "Configure the Readers"
• Deploy: select to deploy the RLS settings to IntelliTrack; see "Deploy the Settings".
