QuickBooks® Requirements

Make sure that a supported QuickBooks version is installed on the computer in which you are installing the plugin.

Supported QuickBooks® Desktop Versions

The following versions of QuickBooks Desktop are supported with IntelliTrack for QuickBooks Desktop:

Required QuickBooks® Settings

Certain preference settings must be turned ON in QuickBooks in order for the Plugin to update the inventory data and order data in Quickbooks. Select Edit > Preferences to reach the Preferences form in QuickBooks.

Inventory Updates

In order to use certain inventory features, specific settings must be enabled in the QuickBooks Preferences\Items & Inventory\Company Preferences form:

Note: For best results when synchronizing data, the unit of measure settings should correlate between QuickBooks and IntelliTrack. If QuickBooks uses either Multiple U/M Per Item or Single U/M Per Item, the Default Division in IntelliTrack should use the Multiple units of measure setting. If QuickBooks uses the Disabled setting, the default division in IntelliTrack should not use the Multiple units of measure setting.

Warning: If using multiple sites, please be aware that multiple locations are not supported by the Plugin. You are able to map all inventory in a specific QuickBooks Site to a IntelliTrack site-location.

Sales Order Updates

In order to use the Plugin to update your sales order data, the Enable Sales Orders option must be enabled in the QuickBooks\Sales & Customers\Company Preferences portion of the form.
