Division

In IntelliTrack a division is part of a company. This means that a division is added to the company. The division contains the sites (or warehouse locations).

Division Options

IntelliTrack contains specific division-level options. All sites grouped with this division inherit and use the division-level options.

Division Level Options

Items are unique to a division and certain inventory options are set at the division level so that they are consistent between the division's sites (see "Setting Division Options" for more information). All sites in this division will use the inventory attributes as set in the Options tab for this division. These include:

• Default Unit of Measure
• Multiple Units of Measure
• Serial Numbers
• Lots
• Expiration Dates
• Log Balance in History
• Containers
• RFID
• Unit Cost Tracking

Division Stock Options

The division contains additional Stock options (see "Division Stock Options" for more information) when you use issue, receipt, and return orders. This is because orders are tracked at the division level. You are able to set order numbering preferences for stock issue, receipt, and return orders. All sites grouped under this division will use the stock options.

Division Orders Options

When you use warehouse receiving and picking orders, the division contains additional Orders options (see "Division Orders Options" for more information). This is because orders are tracked at the division level. You are able to set order numbering preferences for picking and receiving orders. In addition, an inventory allocation feature is available as an option for picking orders. All sites grouped under this division will use the Orders options.

Division Check In-Out Asset Options

When you use IntelliTrack Assets, the division contains additional Asset options (see "Division Asset Options"). This is because assets are tracked at the division level. You are able to set asset preferences for asset numbering, asset reservations, check-in and check-out orders, and maintenance and calibration orders. All sites grouped under this division will use the asset options.

Division Fixed Assets Options

When you use IntelliTrack Assets, the division contains additional Asset options (see "Division Asset Options"). This is because assets are tracked at the division level. You are able to set asset preferences for asset numbering and asset depreciation. All sites grouped under this division will use these asset options.

Division Mailroom Options

When you use IntelliTrack Mailroom, the division contains additional Mailroom options (see "Division Mailroom Options"). This is because packages are tracked at the division level.

Note: In order to add more than one division to a company, the company must be set to allow multiple divisions.

Viewing Divisions

Once the division is added to the company, you may view the division or divisions for your company at the Manage Company page. The division or divisions are shown in the tree-view list underneath the main company.

1. To reach the Manage Company page, select Manage > Company from the navigation pane.

2. The company and division-site list is shown at the Manage Company page. When the page is opened, the company and division-site list is shown in an expanded tree-view list.
