Rapid Check In/Out Warning Messages

The Rapid CheckIn/Out page will display two warning messages:

Checkout Process Warning Message

During the check out process, if the user is allowed to override the reservation during check out (this is a division level setting), a warning message is displayed if the asset scanned is reserved to another assignee during the asset’s reservation period. To continue with the asset check out, you must click OK to close the warning message.

CheckIn Process Warning Message

During the check in process, if the asset being checked in is checked out to another assignee, a warning prompt appears to notify you that the asset is checked out to someone and asking the user to confirm the check in. To continue with the asset check in, you must click OK to close the warning message.

Disabling the Warning Messages

You are able to disable the warning messages when you are performing a rapid check in and a rapid check out by checking the Disable all warning messages checkbox.

This accelerates the scanning process because you do not have to respond to a warning prompt by clicking OK. However, be aware, that when you disable the warning messages, you will not be warned of the conflict during a check out transaction or a check in transaction and the system will automatically assume that you want to override the warning and continue with the check out transaction or the check in transaction.
