Check Out Management
Check Out management in IntelliTrack includes asset entry, asset inventory, asset check out, asset check in, asset reservation, and asset maintenance and calibration. It requires:
- Asset features in the IntelliTrack license.
- Asset features in a user role. For more information, see "Asset Check Out Management Roles"
- System users assigned to the user role that includes the asset features.

An asset is added to an asset-type item at the Manage Items (see "Assets") page or at the Assets Data (see "Assets Data") page.

When an asset is placed into a site-location, it becomes part of the asset inventory, which may be viewed at the Inventory Data page in IntelliTrack. The asset quantity is always considered to be 1.

An asset that is checked out to an assignee is placed back into a site-location when it is checked into the system; see "Check In Page".

A consumable item may be returned during an asset check in. When an item is returned during a Check In order, IntelliTrack records a Check In Return (CKIRT) transaction.

An asset is checked out to an assignee from a site-location; see "Check Out Page".

A consumable item may be issued during an asset check out. When an item is returned during a Check Out order, IntelliTrack records a Check Out Issue (CKOIS) transaction.

An asset maintenance order and an asset calibration order may be entered into IntelliTrack at the Maintenance and Calibration Order page; see "Maintenance and Calibration".

An asset may be reserved for an assignee at the Reservation page; see "Asset Reservation".

A rapid check in and a rapid check out may be performed from the IntelliTrack web application via a wedge scanner; see "Rapid Check In and Check Out" for more information.

Each division contains options for asset management. For more information about division asset options see "Division Asset Options".
